In memory of our father George Ivey the Noth'in "Butt" Fun Cookteam decided to honor a graduating senior from dads church with a scholarship . Dad was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church in Independence, Va. He would be so proud to no that Meredith Cox has received the first annual scholarship in his memory. He loved the youth at his church & loved having fundraisers to help them finance some of their programs. We wanted to continue his love for giving by creating this scholarship. This cookteam is all about working for our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ & we give Him the glory for what He allows us to do through Him. We congratulate Meredith and wish her well in her studies at Emory & Henry College. We would also like to thank the other students who applied, we wish we could have given to them all.
