Steve & Lynn were invited to the Mason's 2009 award banquet and Steve
was awarded the 2009 Mason's Community Builders Award for his dedication
and devotion to his community. Steve works tirelessly to continue to help those
in need. Last year alone The Nothin' "Butt" Fun Cookteam raised over $30,000.
to help others and to better the community spirit of giving. We are so proud of
you Steve and we are always there for you in your next venture.

In memory of our father George Ivey the Noth'in "Butt" Fun Cookteam decided to honor a graduating senior from dads church with a scholarship . Dad was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church in Independence, Va. He would be so proud to no that Meredith Cox has received the first annual scholarship in his memory. He loved the youth at his church & loved having fundraisers to help them finance some of their programs. We wanted to continue his love for giving by creating this scholarship. This cookteam is all about working for our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ & we give Him the glory for what He allows us to do through Him. We congratulate Meredith and wish her well in her studies at Emory & Henry College. We would also like to thank the other students who applied, we wish we could have given to them all. God bless you Meredith. Stay focused on the Lord! We love you.......

Principal Jones says the ring company can now be called to order Championship Rings. After the presentation WLQM radio was there and interviewed Jim Jervey & Jim said it best . He said that Steve,Lynn, Kristen & Brandon are all
alumni from FHS and if you were to cut Steve open he would bleed BLUE & GOLD ...He got that one right. He is there #1 FAN.

Tuesday night 02-10-09 during the basketball game we presented a check to Principal Sam Jones & coach Darren Parker for $5,687.00...Here Steve does the presentation... They were so excited...A memorable moment
came when we where leaving the school parking
lot a young man came running up to say thank you from the bottom of his heart for what we had done for the team and gave us all a hug. He was a
player on the team.. Now that will just about take
your breath away. We where all jello . GO BRONCOS ..We love you guys....
